Welcome to North Jersey Aquatics! We empower athletes to achieve short and long term goals by providing them the tools to become confident, knowledgeable, stronger, and smarter in the pool.
North Jersey Aquatics has a strong vision to help competitive athletes of all levels reach their full potential. We know that coaches do not have time during daily practices to correct details as much as swimmers would like, so our goal is to bridge the gap in order to create athletes who are in tune with their own stroke development. We meet each swimmer where they are and develop a plan for the future before executing that plan to achieve goals as fast as possible. We prepare them with the skills to perform at a higher level in practices and meets as well as understand the science behind why we swim with a certain technique and how they can use that knowledge to improve.
We work on each swimmer as a whole in order to create the strongest athlete imaginable given his or her past/current training and genetics. This includes focusing on the science behind technique, race prep, visualization, and goal setting. Our swimmers learn to move faster in the pool by improving buoyancy and body position which leads to creating additional propulsion and minimizing resistance.
Many swimmers find NJAC after having pain or injuries due to incorrect body position and technique. We work with these swimmers to rebuild their strokes using our science based curriculum with the goal of getting them back in the pool with their teams.
We also know that athletes are looking for guidance in how to mentally prepare for races, become faster swimmers, deal with grueling daily schedules, and how to build confidence in an ever changing world. Time will be spent during each of our lessons giving athletes the tools they need for success in higher level athletics as well as in life. Our athletes are given journals and homework so that they can take back their new skills and use them daily.
Our private competitive lessons are held at the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ or The Morristown Beard School in Morristown, NJ unless otherwise noted. Be sure to always confirm location with your coach via text the day before your lesson. You can also always see your lesson booking details by logging into your customer portal to see what you paid for.
